Pharmacological effect:

Antimicrobial agent Furacilin derived from nitrofuran. Active in Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Bacillus anthracis; gram-negative bacteria: Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Salmonella spp. (incl. Salmonella paratyphi).

Testimony:

For outdoor use: pus wounds, sores, 2nd-3rd degree burns,
minor skin injuries (including abrasions, scratches, cracks, cuts).
For local use:
acute outer and middle otitis,
tonsillitis,
stomatitis, gingivitis;
osteomyelitis,
the rule of thumb for nasal sinuses and pleura,
urinary tract infections.

Method of use, course and dosage Furacilin:

It is used externally and locally. The dose, method and procedure for the use and duration of therapy are determined individually, depending on the indications, clinical situation and the dosage form used.

Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding
In pregnancy and during breastfeeding, use is possible on indications where the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the foetus or infant.

Side Effect:

Possible: local allergic reactions, dermatitis.

Contraindications for use:

Increased sensitivity to nitrofural and other nitrofuran derivatives; Bleeding, allergodermatosis, severe kidney dysfunction.

Special Instructions Furacilin:

If after treatment the improvement does not occur or the symptoms become worse or new symptoms appear, consult a doctor.
Use the tool should be strictly according to the indications, the method of use, which are specified in the instructions for use of a specific dosage form.

Application for kidney disorders
It is contraindicated for use in cases of pronounced disorders of kidney function.
