Pharmachologic effect:
Biologically active substances of ginkgo biloba leaf extract:
- contribute to strengthening and increasing the elasticity of the vascular wall;
- improve the rheological properties of blood and, as a result, improves microcirculation, supply of the brain and peripheral tissues with oxygen and glucose.
A drug:
- improves cerebral circulation;
- has cerebroprotective properties;
- reduces the permeability of the vascular wall (decongestant effect - both at the level of the brain and at the periphery).
- normalizes metabolism in cells;
- prevents the aggregation of red blood cells;
- inhibits platelet activation factor;
- prevents the increase of fibrinolytic activity of blood;
- prevents the formation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of cell membranes;
- has a dose-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular system, expands small arteries, increases venous tone, regulates blood vessels.
- increases the body's resistance to hypoxia, especially brain tissue, inhibits the development of traumatic or toxic cerebral edema.
Indications:
- Discirculatory encephalopathy (consequences of stroke, traumatic brain injury, senile age), manifested by disorders of attention and / or memory, decreased intellectual abilities, anxiety, fear, sleep disturbance;
- dementia, incl. with Alzheimer's disease;
- to improve memory and attention in young people;
- sensorineural disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, hypoacusia), senile macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy;
- asthenic conditions: psychogenic, neurotic, due to traumatic brain damage;
- disorders of peripheral circulation and microcirculation, including arteriopathy of the lower extremities, Raynaud's syndrome.

Disturbances of peripheral blood circulation and microcirculation: 120-160 mg per day.
In other cases: 120-160 mg per day.
On the recommendation of a doctor, the daily dose may be increased.
The course of treatment is from 3 to 6 months. Clinical improvement is observed after approximately 4 weeks of treatment. With prolonged use, the positive effect persists. A second course is possible after consultation with a doctor.
