Pharmacological effect Hepatrombin H
The combined preparation with antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory and venosclerosing action for topical application in proctology comprises heparin, prednisone and lauromacrogol 400 (polydocanol). This drug has several effects:
1. Heparin is a direct-acting anticoagulant that, when applied externally, has a local antithrombotic effect. It prevents blood clots from forming in the hemorrhoids and promotes the regeneration of connective tissue.
2. Prednisone is a corticosteroid (GCS) that has anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative and anti-allergic effects. It reduces inflammation, swelling, and itching in the anorectal area.
3. Lauromacrogol 400 (polydocanol) has a local anesthetic effect and promotes the sclerosis of hemorrhoids. It helps eliminate pain and discomfort in the rectal area.
The combined action of said active components makes it possible to achieve a complex therapeutic effect for treating diseases of a proctological area, such as hemorrhoids and thrombosed hemorrhoids.
Method of application Hepatrombin H
- Externally: apply the ointment with a thin layer to the affected areas 2-4 times a day. After the pain disappears, continue applying the ointment once a day for 7 days.
- Rectally: inject suppositories 1-2 times a day after defecation.
- A tip screwed onto a tube is used to inject ointment into the rectum. The tip is inserted into the rectum, and then a small amount of ointment is squeezed out by gently pressing on the tube.
The course and dosage depend on the specific drug and the doctor's recommendations. Before starting use, people should read the instructions for use of the specific drug or consult with a doctor or pharmacist.
