Pharmacological effect Ketonal
NSAID. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edema effects. Blocks the action of cyclooxygenase, which leads to a decrease in prostaglandin production. In addition, ketoprofen inhibits lipooxygenase, bradykinin formation, maintains the integrity of lysosomal membranes, and inhibits the release of enzymes involved in inflammatory processes.
Ketoprofen does not negatively affect the health of the articular cartilage.
