Pharmacological effect Leatrisa

Leatrice® is an anabolic steroid with unique properties. Its multifaceted effect includes estrogenic, gestagenic, and weak androgenic activity, which is a rare combination. It plays an important role in stabilizing the hypothalamic-pituitary axis after ovarian failure, helping to reduce gonadotropic hormone secretion. In addition, Leatriza® has a positive effect on the woman's body in the postmenopausal period, reducing bone resorption and mitigating many climacteric symptoms, such as "flushing" of blood to the skin of the face, sweating and headaches. It also has a positive effect on libido and mood by increasing the concentration of central and peripheral opioids. Importantly, Leatrisa® does not stimulate endometrial proliferation but stimulates the lining of the vagina. In women of reproductive age, Leatrisa® inhibits ovulation, which is useful for birth control.

Pharmacokinetics

Leatrice® is well absorbed by the body. It is metabolized in the liver to form hydrophilic active products. These products are known for their pharmacological activity and their ability to have a positive effect. The drug is excreted through the kidneys, including metabolites, and also through the intestine.

Indications for Leatrisa®

Leatrisa® is recommended in the case of climacteria, both natural and resulting from an oophorectomy. It helps relieve unpleasant symptoms and suppress ovulation in fertile women. Leatrisa® also inhibits osteoporosis and reduces serum phosphate and calcium concentrations.
