Description:
A drug that makes up for magnesium deficiency in the body.
Composition:
Active ingredients:
magnesium citrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride-10 mg.
Indications for use:
Established deficiency, isolated or associated with other deficient conditions, accompanied by symptoms such as increased irritability, minor sleep disturbances, gastrointestinal spasms, rapid heartbeat, increased fatigue, muscle pain and spasms, tingling sensation in the muscles.
If after a month of treatment there is no reduction in the symptoms deficiency, it is not advisable to continue treatment.
Pharmacokinetics:
The gastrointestinal absorption salts occurs in part by a passive mechanism in which the solubility of the salt plays a decisive role. The degree of this absorption does not exceed 50%.
It is mainly excreted by the kidneys.
