Composition Maltofer
Iron (III) hydroxide polymaltozate 35.7 mg, corresponding to iron content of 10 mg.
Pharmacological effect Maltofer
Iron preparation. In iron (III), the polymaltozate hydroxide, the multi-core iron hydroxide (III), is externally surrounded by a plurality of covalently bound polymaltozate molecules, providing a total average molecular mass of approximately 50 kDa.
Method of use and doses Maltofer
Inside. The daily dose can be taken all at once during or immediately after meals. With the help of a measuring cap attached to the preparation Maltopher syrup, it is possible to calculate the exact dose of the preparation. The infusion drops, syrup and infusion solution can be mixed with fruit and vegetable juices or soft drinks. Chewing tablets can be chewed or swallowed whole. The low colour of the beverage does not alter the taste thereof or reduce the effectiveness of the preparation.
