Instructions for Naphthoderyl (Naftifine) cream 1%
Form of release and composition Dosage forms:
1% outdoor cream: uniform consistency, almost white or white, with a weak specific smell (15 and 30 g in aluminum tubes, in a cardboard pack instruction on the use ofNaphthoderyl and 1 tube; possible transport packagings of 2 or 3 cardboard packs in one group package);
Composition of the cream for one g:
active substance: Naftifine hydrochloride - ten mg; supporting components: benzyl alcohol, polysorbate-60, isopropyl myristat, cetostearyl alcohol, sodium hydroxide, sorbitana stearate, cetilpalmitate, purified water.
Pharmacodynamics:
Naftifine hydrochloride is a fungal-antifungal drug of allylamine class. The mechanism of its action is caused by the ability to inhibit the squalene-two, three-epoxidase. As a result, the formation of ergosterol, which is part of the cell wall of pathogenic fungi, is reduced.
The drug is effective in diseases
caused by: dermatophytes: Epidermophyton, Trichophyton, Microsporum; yeast mushrooms: Pityrosporum, Candida spp.; mold mushrooms: Aspergillus spp.; others: Sporothrix schenckii.
Indications for use Naphthoderyl:
- The solution and Naftifine cream are used for the treatment of the following diseases:
- Skin candidiasis;
- Fungal infections of skin and skin folds (Tinea inguinalis,
- Tinea corporis);
- Tinea pedum (Tinea manuum) dermatomycosis; bran (multicolored) dashes;
- onychomycosis.
- The Naftifine solution is effective for mycosis affecting the skin in hair growth areas and in the skin area with hyperkeratosis.
Naphthoderyl, instructions for use: method and dosage:
The Naphthoderyl solution and cream are designed for outdoor use. In the case of skin diseases, the drug should be applied 1 time a day to the pre-cleaned and dried affected areas and adjacent healthy skin areas (about 1 cm at the edges of the affected area). The course of treatment for candidiasis is four weeks, dermatomycosis - 2-4 weeks (in some cases it is possible to increase the duration of therapy to eight weeks).
