Pharmacological effect Noocil:

Being a precursor of the key ultrastostructural components of the cell membrane (mainly phospholipids), cyticoline has a broad spectrum of action - it promotes the repair of damaged cell membranes, inhibits the action of phospholipases, inhibits the excessive formation of free radicals, and prevents cell death by acting on the mechanisms of apoptosis. In the acute stroke period, Citicoline reduces the amount of damage to brain matter and improves cholinergic transmission. In traumatic brain injury, reduces the duration of the post-traumatic coma and the expression of neurological symptoms, in addition, contributes to a reduction in the length of the recovery period.
