Composition Persen:

1 coated tablet contains:

medicinal rhizomes with roots
dry extract ((4-7): 1) - 50.00 mg
(corresponds to 35.00 mg of native
extract); lemon balm
dry leaf extract ((3-6): 1) - 25.00 mg

- auxiliary ingredients:
lactose monohydrate 99.50 mg, cellulose
microcrystalline 50.00 mg, starch

1.50 mg, magnesium stearate 1.00 mg;
composition of the tablet shell:
hypromellose 7.021 mg, carmellose

The drug Persen is soothing and antispasmodic action.
Rhizome extract with valerian roots
has a calming effect.
Lemon balm leaf extract

Indications for use
Increased nervous irritability
insomnia, irritability.

Contraindications Persen:

hypersensitivity to components of the drug
lactase deficiency, intolerance lactose, glucose-galactose malabsorption
deficiency of sucrase / isomaltase, intolerance to fructose
arterial hypotension 
cholangitis, gallstone disease and other diseases of the biliary
paths
pregnancy
period of breastfeeding
hildren under 12 years of age.

Application during pregnancy Persen:

breastfeeding period
The use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding not studied.
Prescribing the drug Persen® during pregnancy (especially during the first trimester) and breastfeeding is possible in
case the intended benefit for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus or infant.

Method of administration and dosage Persen:
Inside with water, regardless of eating. Adults and children over 12 years old:
with increased nervous excitability,
irritability - 2-3 tablets,coated, 2-3 times a day; for insomnia - 2-3 tablets, coated, in 30 minutes - 1 hour before bedtime.
The maximum daily dose is 12 tablets a day. When stopping treatment for the syndrome no cancellation occurs.
Do not use the drug continuously for more than 1.5-2 months.

Side effect Persen:

Allergic reactions are possible (hyperemia, skin rash, peripheral edema, allergic dermatitis),
bronchospasm, with prolonged application - constipation.
If any of the specified side effects are aggravated, or you
noticed any other side effects not indicated in the instructions, tell your doctor about it.

Overdose Persen:

Single intake of 20 g rhizomes with valerian roots (about 104 film-coated tablets, Persen®)
can make you feel tired stomach cramps, a feeling of constriction in chest, dizziness, shaking hands,
dilated pupils, which can disappear on its own within 24 hours.
With signs of overdose it is advisable to rinse stomach and consult a doctor.
Interacting with others medicines
The drug enhances the effect of sleeping pills products and other medicinal drugs that inhibit central, nervous system, hypotensive, drugs (in particular, central actions), painkillers,which requires dose adjustment

special instructions Persen:

In patients with GERD, it is possible worsening of symptoms. If symptoms of the disease persist or worsening in the background
the use of the drug should inform the attending physician about this.  
Do not use the drug
continuously for more than 1.5-2 months.
Impact on the ability to manage vehicles, mechanisms During the period of drug treatment care should be taken when
carrying out potentially dangerous, activities requiring, increased concentration of attention, and the speed of psychomotor reactions
(vehicle management, work with moving mechanisms, work of a dispatcher, operator)
