Intravaginally. In adults and girls (after the onset of sexual activity), one suppository is prescribed for three to six days.

Pharmacological effect Primafungin
Antifungal polyene antibiotic from the macrolide group, having a wide spectrum of action. It has a fungicidal effect. Natamycin binds cell membrane sterols, disrupting their integrity and function, leading to the death of microorganisms.
It is active against most pathogenic yeast-like fungi (especially Candida albicans), dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton), yeast (Torulopsis, Rhodotorula), other pathogenic fungi (Aspergillus, Penicillium, Fusarium, Cephalosporium), and some protozoa (trichomonad). Does not affect gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Resistance to natamycin is not found in clinical practice.
