Pharmacological effect Rederm

A combined preparation for external use, the effect of which is determined by the components contained therein. It has an anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, keratolytic effect.
Betamethasone inhibits the release of inflammation mediators, prevents the edge cluster of neutrophils, reduces inflammatory exudate and cytokine production, reduces macrophage migration, resulting in a reduction in infiltration and granulation processes.
The presence of salicylic acid softens the skin, eliminates horny layers and contributes to a deeper penetration of betamethasone.

Method of use, course and dosage

The preparation is used externally. Apply on affected skin areas in the following way: a column of ointment of 0.5 cm long on a skin area of approximately 7×7 cm, rubbing slightly, with a thin layer twice daily. Another frequency of use can be established by a doctor based on the severity of the disease.

In mild cases, ointment is sufficient, usually once a day; for more severe lesions, more frequent use may be necessary.
If necessary, occlusion bandages are applied, which change every 24 hours.
The duration of treatment depends on the effectiveness and tolerability of the therapy and is two to four weeks.
If there is no clinical improvement, the diagnosis should be clarified.
