Description Symbicort Turbuhaler:

Powder for inhalation metered; the contents of the inhaler* are granules from white to almost white, mainly rounded in shape.

Turbuhaler® inhaler, consisting of a metering device, a powder storage tank, a desiccant tank, a mouthpiece and a screw-on lid. Inhaler: a rotating red metering meter on which braille code is embossed; white cover; on the inside of the lid there are 5 ribbed thickenings in the form of longitudinal strips; in the metering indicator window, the number "60" or "120" is visible for the inhaler at 60 or 120 doses, respectively; the mouthpiece has four longitudinal ribs and can rotate.

Symbicort® contains budesonide and formoterol, which have different mechanisms of action and show an additive effect in reducing the frequency of exacerbations of bronchial asthma. The special properties of budesonide and formoterol make it possible to use their combination to relieve attacks / symptoms with anti-inflammatory action, or as a supportive therapy for bronchial asthma.

Symbicort® is not intended for the initial treatment of bronchial asthma.
