Pharmacological effect
Taurine is a natural product of the exchange of sulfur amino acids: cysteine, cysteamine, methionine. Taurine has osmoregulatory and membrane-protective properties, positively influences the phospholipid composition of cell membranes, normalizes the exchange of calcium and potassium ions in cells, and improves the conditions for nerve impulse.

It stimulates reparative and regenerative processes in cases of diseases of dystrophic character and/or diseases accompanied by a sharp disruption of the metabolism of the eye tissues.

Testimony Taurine:

  • Dystrophic diseases of retina,
  • including hereditary tapetoretinal degeneration;
  • Corneal dystrophy cataract (senile, diabetic, traumatic, radiotherapy);
  • corneal injury (as a stimulant of reparative processes);
  • primary open-angle glaucoma (combined with beta-adrenolocators for topical use in ophthalmology).

Dosage, Course and Dosage
The dosage regimen depends on the indications and the dosage form of the drug used.
