Description Tergynan
Vaginal tablets are light yellow, with possible interspersed darker or lighter shades, flat, oblong in shape, beveled at the edges and printed with the letter "T" on both sides.

Antimicrobial combined agent (antibiotic+antimicrobial and antifungal agent+antifungal agent+glucocorticosteroid)
A preparation for topical use in gynecology having a combined pharmacological effect. It has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiprotozoal and antifungal effects, and also helps restore the integrity of the vaginal mucosa and maintain pH.
Ternidazole is an antimycotic, imidazole drug that inhibits ergosterol synthesis and alters the structure and properties of the cell membrane. It has active trichomonicidal activity and is effective against anaerobic bacteria including Gardnerella spp.
Neomycin is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic. It has bactericidal effects on gram-positive organisms (staphylococcus, streptococcus pneumoniae) and gram-negative organisms (Escherichia coli, Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri, Shigella boydii, Shigella sonnei, Proteus spp.), although it is inactive against streptococci. Development of resilience is slow and insignificant.
Nystatin, an antifungal antibiotic from the polyene group, is effective against the yeast-like fungi Candida, altering permeability and slowing the growth of cell membranes.
Prednisone is a dehydrated analog of hydrocortisone with pronounced anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and anti-exudative action.
Indications Tergynan:
- treatment of vaginitis caused by various susceptible microorganisms,
- including bacterial vaginitis,
- vaginal trichomoniasis,
- candidal vaginitis,
- and mixed vaginitis Preventing urogenital infections and vaginitis before gynecological surgery,
- delivery or abortion,
- insertion of iud,
- cervical diathermoagulation,
- hysterography.
Method of use, course and dosage Tergynan
It is given intravaginally once a day.
The average duration of treatment is ten days; in the case of confirmed mycosis, the duration of treatment can be increased to 20 days; the average duration of preventive treatment is 6 days.
