Storage conditions Tri-Regol
The drug should be stored away from children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.

Expiry Date
Shelf life - 2 years.

Indications Tri-Regol:

oral contraception.

Method of application, course and dosage Levonorgestrel:

The drug should be taken indoors at the same time, if possible in the evening. The tablets are swallowed completely, without chewing and drinking a small amount of liquid.
For the purpose of contraception in the first cycle®, Tri-Regol is prescribed daily for 1 tab/day for 21 days starting from the 1st day of the menstrual cycle, then take a 7-day break during which menstrual bleeding occurs. Acceptance of the next package containing 21 tablets covered by a shell shall begin on the 8th day after the 7-day break.
The drug is taken as long as contraception is necessary.

A similar scheme is used to switch from another oral ® contraceptive to Tri-Regol.
After an abortion, it is recommended to start the drug on the same day or the next day after the operation.
After childbirth, the drug is recommended only to women who do not breastfeed.
Reception should begin not earlier than the 1st day of the menstrual cycle.

During lactation the use of the drug is contraindicated.
If the woman did not take Tri-Regol within the prescribed time®, it is necessary to take the missed pill within the next 12 hours. If after taking the pill passed 36 hours contraception cannot be considered reliable. However, in order to avoid intermenstrual blood secretions it is necessary to continue taking the drug from the already started package minus the missed pill(s). At this time, it is recommended to additionally use another non-hormonal method of contraception (e.g. barrier method).

Pharmacological effect Tri-Regol:

Combined (three-phase) oral contraceptive estrogen-gestagenic drug. Oppressant hypophysis secretion of gonadotropic hormones. Sequential taking of tablets containing different amounts of gestagen (levonorgestrel) and estrogen (ethinylestradiol), ensures the concentrations of these hormones in the blood, close to their concentrations during normal menstrual cycle, and promotes the secretor endometrium transformation.

The contractionary effect is associated with several mechanisms. Under the influence of levonorgestrel comes blockade of release of rilizing factors (LH and FSG) of hypothalamus, oppression of secretion by the pituitary of gonadotropic hormones, which leads to inhibition of ripe Aniya and a ready-to-fertilize egg (ovulation). Etinilestradiol retains high viscosity of the neck mucus (makes it difficult to get sperm into the uterine cavity). Along with the contraceptive effect, the menstrual cycle is normalized, thanks to the replenishment of the level of endogenous hormones by the hormonal components of the Tri-Regol tablets®. In 7-day periods, when the next break in the drug, there is a uterine bleeding.
