They protect cellular structures from the damaging effects of free radicals, improve the functioning of the immune system and the general resistance of the body, and reduce the likelihood of developing cancer, cardiovascular diseases and age-related cataracts.

Betacarotene is a provitamin of vitamin A (retinol). As a natural antioxidant, it protects the cell membrane from free radical damage. In the course of the chain reaction, in addition to other free radicals, chemically highly reactive singlet oxygen is also formed , which, with the help of beta-carotene, is converted into a more stable triplet form.
Vitamin E (tocopherol) in a lipophilic environment acts as a biological antioxidant, protects lipids and other substances (enzymes, DNA) of membranes and other cellular structures from oxidation by free radicals in the cell. With the participation of tocopherol, a more stable and less active radical tocopheryl is formed, which in the presence of ascorbic acid and enzymes is again reduced to the original tocopherol. Vitamin E has an anti-atherogenic effect, preventing the formation of primary damage and the oxidation of LDL. Thanks to this, vitamin E prevents the formation of atherosclerotic plaques in the blood vessels.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) acts as a biological antioxidant in a hydrophilic environment. It reacts with free radicals, resulting in the formation of a more stable radical of ascorbic acid, which is then converted back to ascorbic or dihydroascorbic acid through various reactions involving glutathione peroxidase.
Vitamin C, combined with vitamin E, prevents the formation of toxic nitrosamines from N-nitrous compounds found in food. Selenium - an oligoelement of selenium is an integral part of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which removes peroxides and free radicals from the cell.

Application Triovit vitamins
Adults and adolescents over the age of 15 are recommended to take 1 capsule 1-2 times a day. Swallow the capsule whole with a small amount of liquid, preferably after a meal. It is recommended to take Triovit capsules for 2 months, repeat this course of treatment 2-3 times a year.
Children over the age of 10 can take 1 capsule per day and only under medical supervision.

Triovit can be taken by patients with diabetes mellitus, since this drug does not contain sugar. Children over the age of 10 years can take Triovit capsules under medical supervision; there is no experience of using the drug in children under 10 years of age.
E122 azo dye can cause allergic reactions, including asthma. Allergic reactions most often occur in people who are hypersensitive to acetylsalicylic acid.
