Pharmaceuticals:

Anti-allergic drug Cetirizine. H1-receptor, a competitive histamine antagonist, metabolite hydroxisin. Prevents development and facilitates the flow of allergic reactions, has anti-virus and anti-exudative action.

Affects the early histamine-dependent stage of allergic reactions, restricts the release of inflammatory mediators at a late stage of allergic reaction, reduces the migration of eosinophiles, neurophiles and basiophiles, stabilizes memes the bulky cells are breached. Reduces the permeability of capillaries, prevents swelling of tissues, removes spasm of smooth musculature. Eliminates the skin reaction to the introduction of histamine, specific allergens, as well as to the cooling (in the case of a "cold" nettle). Reduces the histamine-induced bronchococonstriction in the bronchial asthma of the lung stream.

It has practically no anticholinergic and anti-serotonine effect. In therapeutic doses, there is almost no sedative effect.

After a single treatment of cetirysine at a dose of 10 mg the effect is observed in 20 min (in 50% of patients) and in 60 min (in 95% of patients), the action continues more than 24 h. Against the background of the course treatment tolerance to antihistamine action cet irisine does not develop. After termination of treatment action is preserved up to 3 days.
