Pharmacological effect Cinnarizine:

Class IV calcium channel blocker with primary effect on cerebral vessels, a piperazine derivative. Improves cerebral, coronary and peripheral blood circulation. It disrupts the supply of calcium ions to smooth muscle cells. Reduces the tone of smooth arteriol muscles, reduces reactions to biogenic vasoconstrictors (adrenaline, noradrenaline, bradykinin). Reduces the excitability of the vestibular apparatus. In patients with peripheral blood circulation disorder, it improves blood supply and potentiates post-surgical hyperemia. Increases tissue resistance to hypoxia.
