Pharmacological effect Isoprinosine

Isoprinosine is a synthetic complex derivative of purine, exhibiting immunostimulating activity and nonspecific antiviral action. It restores lymphocyte functions in the conditions of immunodepression, increases blastogenesis in the population of monocytic cells, stimulates expression of membrane receptors on the surface of T-helper cells

  • Method of use, course and dosage Isoprinosine

The pills are taken after a meal, drinking a little water.
The recommended daily dose for adults and children aged three years and older (15-20 kg body weight) is 50 mg/kg body weight in three to four doses (6-8 tablets/day for adults, 1/2 tab for children per five kg body weight/day).
The pills are taken after a meal, drinking a little water.
For reurrent genital warts, the preparation is prescribed to adults in two tabs. three times per day, to children in 1/2 tabs. for five kg/body weight per day in three to four doses, either as monotherapy or in combination with surgical treatment for fourteen to twenty-eight days, then repeated three times the course at intervals of one month.

For cervical dysplasia associated with human papillomavirus, two tabs are prescribed. three times a day for ten days, then two to three similar courses are given at intervals of ten to fourteen days.
