Testimony Ursodeoxycholic acid:
uncomplicated gallstone disease (biliary sludge, dissolving of cholesterol gallstones in the gallbladder when the gallbladder is functioning; prevention of recurrence of stone formation after cholecystectomy); chronic hepatitis of different origins; toxic (including medicinal) liver lesions; alcoholic liver disease; non-alcoholic steatohepatitis; primary biliary cirrhosis of the liver; primary sclerosing cholangitis; cystic fibrosis; biliary dyskinesia; biliary reflux gastritis and reflux esophagitis.
Contraindications:
hypersensitivity; X-ray positive gallstones (high in calcium) dysfunctional gallbladder; biliary fistula; acute cholecystitis; acute cholangitis; cirrhosis of the liver in the stage of discompensation; acute infectious diseases of the gallbladder, bile ducts and intestines; severe liver and/or kidney failure; obstruction of the biliary tract; gall bladder empyems; Children are up to three years old.
Pharmacological effect Ursodeoxycholic acid:
The hepatoprotective agent also has a cholelytic, cholelytolithic, hypolipidemic and some immunomodulatory effect. Possessing high polar properties, ursodeoxycholic acid forms non-toxic mixed mycelles with apolytic (toxic) bile acids, which reduces the ability of gastric reflux to damage cell membranes in biliary reflux gastritis and reflux esophagy.
Method of use and dosage:
Inside without chewing, sucking enough water. For diffuse liver disease, cholesteric gallstones and biliary sludge: A daily dose of ten mg/kg body weight to fifteen mg/kg body weight (two to five capsules) continuously for a long time (from several months to several years). In diffuse liver diseases, the daily dose of the drug is divided into two to three doses, capsules are taken together with food. In the case of gallstone disease, the entire daily dose is taken once per night.
