Composition:
Composition per 1 ml Active substance: oxymetazoline hydrochloride - 0.10 mg. Auxiliary substances: sea water, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate dihydrate, glycerol 85%, water for injection.
Pharmacological effect oxymetazoline
The anticongestive agent is alpha-adrenomimetic. Oxymetazoline belongs to the group of alpha-adrenostimulators for local use. It has a vasoconstrictive effect. The intranasal administration reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and the secretion from the nose. It restores nasal respiration. Elimination of edema of the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity promotes restoration of aeration of the parietal sinuses of the nasal cavity, of the middle ear cavity, which reduces the probability of bacterial complications (haimorite, sinusitis, middle otitis).

Method of use and doses Snuppik
The preparation Oxymetazoline nasal drops 0.01% is intended for use in children under 1 year of age. Intranasally. Children under four weeks old - one drop in each nostril 2-3 times a day. Children from the 5th week of life up to one year - one - two drops in each nostril two - three times a day. one drop of the drug Oxymetazoline contains 2.8 ug of oxymetazoline hydrochloride. Clean the nasal cavity before application. Remove the protective cap from the bottle, flip the bottle so that the nozzle is pointing down, introduce the nozzle into the nasal cavity, push the nozzle once to introduce one drop.
