Instructions for Troxerutin capsules

Pharmacological properties:

Venoprotective agent. Troxerutin is a semi-synthetic benzopyrone series bioflavonoid (a mixture of 3 ', 4' and 7 (β-oxyethyl) rutosides). It has P-vitamin activity, shows pronounced angioprotective properties; reduces vascular-tissue permeability and fragility of capillaries, contributes to normalization of microcirculation and tissue trophy, reduces congestion in veins and paravenous tissues, and has an anti-edema and anti-inflammatory effect. It improves peripheral circulation, primarily microcirculation and tissue trophy.

After ingestion, it is partially included in the enterohepatic recirculation cycle, it is excreted mainly with feces.

Testimony:

  • Chronic venous insufficiency of varicose or post-thrombotic origin; subjective sensations in patients with varicose veins, hemorrhoids;
  • local edema of various origins (post-traumatic, lymphatic, complicating phlebitis or thrombosis); disorders of capillary resistance, in particular in vascular purple and microangiopathy.
  • Chronic venous insufficiency with manifestations such as
  • static heaviness in the legs,
  • shin ulcers,
  • trophic skin lesions
  • Varicose veins
  • including pregnancy
  • thrombophlebitis
  • periflebitis
  • post-thrombotic syndrome
  • hemorrroid nodes
  • post-traumatic swelling and hematoma, hemorrhagic diathesis with increased permeability of capillaries, capillary toxicosis (including measles, scarlet fever, influenza), -diabetic microangiopathy, -as a preventive measure after vein surgery

Application:

At the beginning of treatment, 300 mg is taken 2 times a day until symptoms disappear. The maintenance dose is 300 mg/day. Capsules are swallowed without chewing during meals.

The gel is applied 2-3 times a day in a uniform thin layer on the affected area of skin, rubbing slightly. Do not apply to open wounds. The course of treatment is from 2 weeks to 1-2 months. If the disease recurs, the course of treatment can be repeated 2-3 times a year.

The course Troxerutin of treatment is 2-4 years.

Contraindications:

Increased sensitivity to Troxerutin.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Special instructions:

In deep vein thrombosis and superficial thrombophlebitis, the use of Troxerutin does not replace treatment with anti-thrombotic and anti-inflammatory agents.
