Release form, composition and packaging:

Hard gelatin capsules, cylindrical, yellow; capsule contents - yellow to yellow-brown powder.
-1 cap. troxerutin 300 mg Auxiliary substances: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate.
Shell composition: quinoline yellow dye (E104), sunset yellow dye (E110), titanium dioxide (E171), gelatin.

Pharmacological action:

Troxevasin is a mixture of hydroxyethyl derivatives of rutin, in which tri-hydroxyethylrutoside with P-vitamin activity prevails.
Troxevasin has a pronounced venotonic, capillarotonic, anti-exudative and hemostatic effect. The drug reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, has a decongestant and anti-inflammatory effect. It blocks the venodilating effect of histamine, bradykinin, acetylcholine. It acts anti-inflammatory on periolenous tissue, has a pronounced antiplatelet effect. The drug Troxevasin does not have an embryotoxic, teratogenic and mutagenic effect.

Pharmacokinetics:

The plasma concentration of hydroxyethylrutoside reaches its maximum value 2- 8 hours after administration. T1/2 - about 24 hours. The bulk of the drug Troxevasin is excreted from the body with bile, and only a small part - with urine.

Indications:

Limb pain and swelling due to venous insufficiency of varying severity:
pre and postvaricose syndrome;
-acute superficial thrombophlebitis and periflebitis;
-ulcerative skin lesion and dermatitis against the background of varicose veins;
-bole and traumatic swelling: dislocation, stretching, contusion.

Dosing mode:

Inside, while eating. The initial dose is 1 cap. 2 For paresthesias and nocturnal tonic seizures, capsules are taken before bedtime and in the morning.
For maintenance therapy - 1 cap. for 2-4 weeks or more.
The success of treatment with the drug depends on its regular use in sufficient doses for a long time.

Side action:

Rarely: allergic skin reactions - urticaria, eczema, dermatitis.
