Description Berodual N

The inhalation aerosol is metered in the form of a transparent, colourless or slightly yellowish, or slightly brownish liquid, free from suspended particles.

1 inhalation dose
phenoterol hydrobromide 50μg
ipratropium bromide monohydrate 21 ug,
which corresponds to the content of bromine ipratropium 20μg
Auxiliary substances: ethanol absolute - 13.313 mg, water purified - 0.799 mg, citric acid - 0.001 mg, tetrafluoroethane (HFA 134a, propellant) - 39.070 mg.

10 ml (200 doses) - metal cans with metering valve and mouthpiece (1) - cardboard packs.

Pharmacological effect Berodual N

Combined broncholytic drug. It contains two components that have broncholytic activity: ipratropium bromide, m-cholinoblocker, and phenoterol hydrobromide, beta2-adrenomimetic.
Bronchodilation during inhalation of bromida ipratropium is mainly due to local, rather than systemic anticholinergic action.F

Prevention and symptomatic treatment of obstructive respiratory tract diseases with reversible bronchospasm:
bronchial asthma;
COPD;
chronic bronchitis, complicated or not complicated by emphysema.

Method of use, course and dosage Berodual N

The dose is set individually.
Adults and children older than six years are given two inhalation doses to prevent seizures. If breathing relief does not occur within five minutes, two more inhalation doses may be prescribed.

The patient should be informed of immediate medical attention in case of no effect after four inhalation doses and the need for additional inhalations.

For long-term and intermittent therapy is prescribed one - double inhalation for 1 appointment, up to 8 inhalations / day (on average, 1-2 inhalations three times a day).

Use in children
It is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.
The drug is used with caution in children over 6 years old.
