Pharmacological effect:
Spasmoanalgesic. The preparation includes a non-narcotic analgesic of sodium metamisole (analgin), a myotropic spasmolytic agent of pitophenone hydrochloride and a choline-inhibiting agent of fenpiverine bromide.
Methamisol is a pyrazolone derivative. It has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Pitophenone, like papaverine, has a direct myotropic effect on the smooth musculature of the internal organs and causes its relaxation.
Fenpiverinium, due to its cholin-blocking action, has an additional relaxing effect on smooth muscles.
The combination of the three components of the preparation leads to mutual reinforcement of the pharmacological action thereof, which results in pain relief, relaxation of smooth muscles and a reduction in the increased body temperature.
